Yes, she has her hair. No, she won't let me post a picture.

We were just thinking - everyone we talk to asks if they had to shave her head for the surgery. And, nope, they didn't! They just made a part in her hair, and shaved off a strip less than a half an inch wide where they made the incision. We're trying to convince her to let us post a picture.....we'll see...... :)

She let us! :)

I came across a quote from Neal Maxwell I wanted to share with you. "Though God always meters out life's challenges so that they don't exceed our ability to cope, there are many times and seasons, mightn't there, when from our standpoint we feel we are encountering a fire hydrant's torrent of tribulation?
I think you might be feeling this way because of your challenges over the last couple of years. I can tell you from experience that the time in my life when I grew strongest and had more peace was during my greatest onslaught of trials. I pray what you're experiencing as a family will be a blessing. It took me a few years to recognize the blessings that came from those difficult times but now, 16 years past, I look back and can see the growth in our family and I am grateful. Please give Phyllis and Kirk our love and try to be patient, this too shall pass.
